Great News!
Last year our insurance carrier (Hartford) dropped Special Event liability insurance coverage for member clubs from our AKCA General Liability Insurance Policy.
Having to shop for replacement liability insurance for Special Events at the club level wasn't just a hassle – the high premiums sometimes sucked the profit right out of a club's fund raising events.
Some clubs were even forced to cance

The Associated Koi Clubs of America (AKCA)
The AKCA is a non-profit organization created to promote the hobby of keeping, breeding and appreciating Japanese Nishikigoi (koi). There are approximately 100 member clubs in the US and Canada belonging to AKCA. Thirty plus clubs hold Koi Shows during the year and many clubs hold Pond Tours and other events that are open to the public. An Annual Seminar is held in different locations around the country which includes a Trade Show, lectures, Judging exercises, a KHA Wet Lab, tours of the area and a tour of local member’s ponds.
