The AKCA is a non-profit organization created to promote the hobby of keeping, breeding and appreciating Japanese Nishikigoi (koi). There are approximately 100 member clubs in the US and Canada belonging to AKCA.  Thirty plus clubs hold Koi Shows during the year and many clubs hold Pond Tours and other events that are open to the public. An Annual Seminar is held in different locations around the country which includes a Trade Show, lectures, Judging exercises, a KHA Wet Lab, tours of the area and a tour of local member’s ponds.  Start an AKCA Club in your area!
