First Place: C This Koi has great body shape and a heavier pattern with a richness of color seldom seen. Clearly, as the name donotes - autum leaves - this fish exemplifies this name. The scale reticulation is exceptionally good. This koi is only slightly faulted on the dorsal ridge. The pectoral fins have, as required, color radiating from the base. This koi edges ahead of our second place winner only beacuse of overall balance and richness of color.
Second Place: B A marvelous Koi and a great example of Ochibai Shigure. Our second place winner falls only slightly behind our first place selection due to the slighly less lack of definition in the reticulation of the scales. Good body conformation is seen here. The base of the pectoral fins radiate color in a beautiful fashion. In most cercumstances this Koi would take first place.
Third Place: A This koi has a good head pattern which promises much, but as we move back, the lack of body pattern is disappointing. This fish shows good shape and super scale definition. The bruising on the left shoulder of the Koi we will put down to transit damage and therefore disregard.
