


There are two distinct kinds of FUKURIN. They are referred to as type 1 and a type 2. See the attached images. FUKURIN only exists on scaled koi. However, small koi don't seem to show it. FUKURIN becomes more apparent as the koi matures. Koi older that three years can show FUKURIN and it is easily seen in koi exceeding 65 cm. Doitsu koi never exhibit FUKURIN.
It knows the structure of the scale and the skin by knowing FUKURIN. Then, the actual understanding of SASI and KIWA is made. Don't you think that it is interesting to know FUKURIN?
