OCTOBER FINANCIAL STATEMENT/FINANCE COMMITTEE:
Doug reported that as of 10/30 there was $11,106
advertising due that is 60-90 days late and only $1,750 that is over 90 days
late. Our investment account gained
$3812.70 in Sept. Discussion about
Connie sending out all bookstore materials via media mail to save costs;
decided to continue this practice. Sent
in 2006/2007 tax form (no taxes paid), exempt corp. form and $10, Charitable
trust form and $25. Michael charged us
$400 to do these 3 documents. Doug
discussed problem with having two Bank of America accounts; Doug closed the
Texas account and has transferred the funds to a new Calif. B of A account
under the name of AKCA KHV Project under the AKCA corporation. Burt will be a signer along with Doug. Doug also discussed PayPal bookstore
orders. Also discussed complaints from
bookstore customers because they have no way of reaching the bookstore since
Connie disconnected the answering machine because TAB told her to. It was discussed at their meeting that the
long term solution may be to utilize the Wi-Fi system at Blue Ridge and get
Connie a laptop and bookstore email to utilize the Wi-Fi system at Blue Ridge
and get Connie a laptop and bookstore email address there. Discussion about hiring Stuart Adelson,
attorney, to review and recommend changes to both the Publication Manager and
Accounts Receivable Manager subcontracts.
Motion: To pay
Stuart Adelson $682.50 to review and draw up new contracts for both the
Publication Manager and Accounts Receivable Manager. Motion by Burt, 2nd by Carole. Approved. Doug also presented the AKCA Annual Report
as well as the KOI USA Inc. Annual Report and Finance Report. Motion: To order 100 Koi Classification DVD at $5.10
each. Motion by Doug, 2nd by
Joan. Approved. Discussion about AKCA finances. Motion: To request a donation of $20,000 from KOI
USA Inc. Motion by Joan, 2nd

COMMITTEE REPORTS:
v SCIENTIFIC/KHA: Spike emailed his report to members; Burt briefly went over a few items. With the addition of Harold Biggio as an Advanced KHA, there are now 6 KHAs with Advanced Certification and 6 with Master Certification. There are 62 students currently enrolled in this the 7th class. Karen Pattist has added some interactive case studies for CE credit.
v KHV Project: Spike emailed his report to members; Burt went over a few items. Discussed a 2 day Seminar in Nevada with speakers such as Dr. Tim Miller-Morgan, etc. Online auctions have continued, however, they will not auction any more Nichirin sets until they get more widespread awareness of the auctions.
v PUBLICATION: Joan reported that the Nov/Dec issue was delayed due to fire. There were five suggestions on the slogan for the magazine with one picked, “Setting the Standard for 32 Years.” It was felt that many do not know the officers of KOI USA Inc.. Motion: The AKCA Board officially verify KOI USA Inc. Board members by name for the record. Motion by Doug, 2nd by Burt. Approved. KOI USA Inc. Officers are: Chairperson: Joan Finnegan; Editor: Steve Childers; Asst. Editor: Brenda Atwell; Secretary: Joyce Glenn; CFO: Doug Dahl; Webmaster: Joe White. v Motion: To allow William Lim to put a KOI USA subscription ad into his upcoming catalogue. Motion by Bob, 2nd by Joyce. Approved. The filter guides are in with 450 shipped to us. Steve reported they are working on the March/April issue. He suggested they have a contest for Koi Pond of the Year. There would be three size categories. This would be judged by a panel. It is hoped this would provide an influx of articles. Each would need an article, diagram and photos of the pond. Joe White is working on adding links. Bill discussed linking our website to others.

MEMBERSHIP: Doug reported that he
received a membership application from the Rainbow River Club of Danellan,
Florida. Motion: To approve Rainbow River Club as an AKCA
member club. Motion by Doug, 2nd
by Bill. Approved. There are 101 member clubs. Doug reported that club kits have been sent
out at a cost of $650 for mailing.
There was one page with errors; can be redone and sent out with the AKCA
minutes.

JUDGING: Bob reported that Charles
Phelps is doing a great job of scheduling.
The judges will have business cards made up. Bob can’t reach Tom Hatfield regarding the judging program for
the 2008 Seminar; Burt stated he will take care of it.

SPEAKER’S GRANT:
Burt stated that
Doug has sent out letters to the winners.
They have until Dec. 10th to let us know if they’re not going
to use the grant.

GUIDES: Burt stated that we need to order 5,000 more
pond construction guides at a cost of $3.22 each for a total of $16,082. Will sell these at $10. Motion: To order 5,000 pond construction guides for
a cost of $16,082. Motion by Louie, 2nd
by Bill. Approved. Motion: To send 5 pond construction guides to each
club. Motion by Burt, 2nd by
Bill. Approved. Motion: To sell the pond construction and filter
guides for $10 and $6 to club members who purchase 5 or more as well as

INSURANCE: Burt stated that there are
still some clubs who have not sent in their forms. It’s imperative that those clubs get them in ASAP. Bob suggested that we send a letter to these
clubs registered mail.
SEMINAR REPORTS:
v 2008 Jacksonville, Fla.
Seminar: Burt reported that things are
going smoothly. Working on potential
sponsors/vendors.
v
2009 San Diego, CA: Burt stated that Bill talked
to Galen. There is an accelerated
schedule due to moving the date of the Seminar. There will be a small ad in the May/June KOI USA so as not to
compete with the Jacksonville Seminar and a large ad in the July/August issue.

2010 Seminar: Burt stated that Las Vegas Koi
Club withdrew their bid to host the Seminar.
He is concerned with the lack of follow up from the Indianapolis club;
problems with hotel cost and space. The
Koi Club of Middle Tennessee would like to host the Seminar along with the
Nashville Pond Society. Kay Rice, the
AKCA rep for the Koi Club of Middle Tennessee, did an outstanding job (given
less than a week to compile the required info) in getting hotel info to Carole
and Burt. One of the hotels emailed
Carole stating that they would not be able to hold a conference while the other
two had good room rates and excellent convention space. Carole will contact Kay to try to get at
least one other hotel in the mix. It
was decided to make a final decision at the January meeting.

Doug: Judy Schwartz, of Austin Pond Society,
reports the club makes the election of officers meeting fun by including a fall
social dinner provided by the club and lots of door prizes. Janet Vukovich, of Central Calif. KC,
reports their 29th Koi Show was held Oct. 13/14 and the Judges were
Charles Phelps and Garry Chin who did a great job. The Grand Champion was a Sanke owned by Bob

Champion was a Showa owned by Don Robb.
Debi Gillis, of Central Coast KC, reports their 4th
club meeting included the viewing of the AKCA Koi Classification DVD for club
members. The club is planning a Pond
Tour late next Spring and club members are discussing the possibility of a
small members only koi show next year.
Club pins, donated by dealer The Pond Place, have been ordered for
members. Club members are planning a
road trip to the San Diego Koi Show in Feb.
Janice Ramsey, of East Tennessee KC, reports the topic for
the Oct. meeting was a timely and informative lecture by Brian Mitchell on
winterizing your pond. Club Officers
were re-elected and there will be no club meetings during the cold months of
Nov. – Feb. except a Holiday Party.
Teresa Lawrence, of First Coast K&WGC,
reports the club just finished their 5th Annual Koi Show which was
their best show ever. They had 97 fish
in 20 tanks and multiple vendors, an auction and a great catered banquet. AKCA Certified Judge Joe White and Candidate
Judge Henry Culpepper did a great job judging the show and sharing their
knowledge with members. Member
volunteers were very good at sharing the workload this year which always makes
a koi show more fun for everybody. Sue
Boydstun, of Idaho WGS, reports difficulty getting new members to
step up to be club Officers and the current people are burning out. The club is even offering to try 2 people
sharing an Office to spread the effort required. Steve Childers, of Internet Koi of North America,
reports club members presented Friendship awards at many shows from Atlanta to
Las Vegas to San Antonio and several between.
Club members often also provide support staffing for many of these
shows. Dara Newman, of Las Vegas
KC, reports their recent Koi show was a huge financial success with not
one negative comment made about the show.
Club members are planning a follow up meeting to celebrate the success
of the show and to discuss if anything needs to be improved for next years
show. Judy Christian, of Lone
Star KC, reports club members will attend the 3rd Annual
Fish Harvest Sale at Brett Rowleys Fish Farm on Dec. 8th along with
several other clubs from Texas. The day
will include lectures, a tour of the breeding ponds and in past years has
included a buffet. Dec. 9th
is the club “Trash or Treasure” Christmas party and auction. This year the club has invited the Houston
Pond Society to join the fun. Dot
Wilbanks, of Moto Kara Koi Kai ZNA Chapter, reports many club
members travel to San Antonio for the Koi Show in October. Some members help out staffing the
show. Paula Snyder, of Nashville
Pond Society, reports their annual Parade of Ponds in Sept. featured 10
ponds including one pond at the home of music star Little Jimmie Dichens. Club plans are moving along on the project
to build a 2500-3000 gallon pond complete with waterfall and stream at the
Nashville Hospice. They hope to
complete the pond 3 days after the materials are delivered with more than a
dozen members joining in to help. Dan
Olson, of North Idaho Koi Keepers, reports holding
a study workshop on imported Showa and Sanke covering 3 distinct quality
levels. Dick Benbow conducted the
workshop. Several club members traveled
to Japan for koi harvests in October.
Other club members traveled to Quality Koi on the East Coast for their
koi harvest. Melinda Smieja, of Olympic
KG&WGC, reports the last club meeting will be in November with a
break until March. Geoffrey Huntley, of
Piedmont K&WGS, reports members are preparing for the 10th
Annual Koi Show in Charlotte Nov. 2-4.
Election of club Officers will happen in January and they will start to
plan activities for 2008 including how to spend their AKCA Speaker Grant. Roc Goudreau, of Pioneer Valley
WG&KC, reports it has been a while since the last club report so he
will summarize the year for the club.
In March 50 club members filled a tour bus to Boston for the New England
Flower Show with beautiful pond and landscape displays. May included a Fish Rodeo to catch and sell
280 goldfish and 5 koi donated by a person to the club. It was work for the club members to drain
the pond to catch the fish but the club made $500 for their efforts. June included the annual New England Water
Garden & Ornamental Fish show with 38 vendors but no koi or goldfish
competition. July included the annual
Pond Tour and ticket sales were down this year maybe because of gas
prices. In August, Karen Pattist
organized a Connecticut Pond Tour and 35 members traveled by bus to 5 of the
finest ponds in New England. August also
included the Annual Banquet with over 100 members in attendance to a great buffet
and tons of raffles and giveaways, a koi auction and excellent Power Point
presentation by Karen. Dorothy Connors,
of Rhode Island & Massachusetts KC, reports member John
Davenport gave large koi to several club members to find a home because they had
outgrown his pond. This event gave club
members the opportunity to discuss catching and transporting koi and a good
quarantine system. Bill Story then gave
a pictorial presentation of his trip to Koi America and Dorothy Connors gave a
Power Point presentation on two ponds with problems that had been
resolved. This last presentation led
club members to a contest to name the disease and present solutions. Kristine Jones, of Salt Lake
KC, reports the Nov. meeting will include the Annual Awards banquet. The October meeting had members choosing the
Koi Person of the Year and Best/Worst Koi Story. Just who inadvertently swan dived into their pond during a 10%
water change almost draining the pond.
Gerald Dudley, of Siskiyou K&PC, reports they have not
received the free books and guides yet for being a new club in AKCA. Lauren Hughes, of The Great Smoky
Mountain KC&PS, reports club members held a great cookout for the
last meeting of the year and wishes everyone a great winter. Renee Robinson, of Triad K&WGS,
reports club members attended the Charlotte Koi Show instead of holding a club

q reports planning has started
for the 2008 Koi Show on Aug 2/3 at Bachmans in Lyndale. This year they will have double the space
for vendors. Bachmans will again donate
advertising locally, a seminar room and venue for the show. Judges will be selected soon. The club Board will meet in Dec. to plan the
events for 2008, including a Spring Mini-Seminar. The club has made “I subscribe to KOI USA” stickers for members
who subscribe to place on their name tags to proudly show other members that
they support AKCA and KOI USA magazine.
David Yee, of Valley of the Sun KC, reports club members
held their Annual Picnic at the Japanese Friendship Garden in Oct. The Annual Koi Show will be Feb 9-10th
at the Chinese Culture Center. Mary
Oxman, of Ventura KC, reports a pirate theme for the October club
meeting at the home of Eric Howes. Eric
went all out with props and pirate flags.
Mark & Charlene Whalen came all the way from Orange County to attend
the meeting. Charter member, from 20
years ago, Bob Hensley also stopped by for a visit. The club meeting in Nov. will have Ned from Simi Koi speak about
the pros and cons of buying koi online and other services that are available
online. Pam Francis, of Michigan
K&PC-SE, reports a potluck held at the Sept. meeting. Members will gather for a trip to Three
Cedars Farm Oct. 20th including a hay ride and a corn maze. Nov. 3rd the club held their Year
End Social at “Big Fish” seafood restaurant with 40 members attending. The event included a game of Deal or No Deal
and election of club Officers. Doug tried
to contact the following clubs with no response: Dai Ichi KC; Las Pampas K&WGS; Mid
Atlantic KC; Middle Georgia K&WGC; and, Tulsa
KS.

Bob: So Cal Koi Club met in
November at the beautiful home of Robert & Carol Karlin; Carole talked
about winterizing your pond. The Xmas
party will be held at Marie Callendar’s with an all you can eat Champagne
buffet. Bob & Joan Finnegan went to
Japan where Bob worked on the final level of ZNA judging. He and Joan will be going back in February
to the All Japan Show and final ZNA judging exercise. Awards are made in May.

Hawley, of North Florida KC, said everything is
OK. The Greater Louisville
K&GFS reports that everything is OK. They are having their Xmas party Dec. 7th. Norm Call, of Oregon K&WGS,
said everything is OK. Will have their
Xmas party Dec. 1st and install new officers. David Vince, of West Tennessee PS,
said everything is OK; nothing new. Bob
tried but was unable to reach: Tropical
KS; North West Koi & GFC; and, Indiana
K&WGC.

Koi Kichi Group, said their Nov. 3rd meeting was held at
Lluminary Llamas, owned by member Carol Marthens; she has many show winning
llamas. Under a new format the board
met prior to the educational session, sparing newbies and guests business
tedium. Following a potluck lunch,
David Jones, KHA, and Jennifer Walker, water quality expert, presented an
advanced water quality program. they’ve
had a lot of interesting ponds to visit this year as their club continues to
grow and new members build water gardens.
Arley Hulstrand, of Koi & WGC of North Texas,
said their meetings are held all over north Texas. October in Lucas and November scheduled for Coppell. One member drove 1 ½ hours to attend the
October meeting and another drove 90 miles to attend. David Jones, KHA, presented the October program on how to prepare
their water gardens for winter. A club
sponsor, Dan Martinez, owner of the Pond Depot/Sublime Water Gardens, will give
the November program. Norbun Watson, of
Middle Georgia Koi Society, said they had a meeting and raffle of
pies and cakes for their treasury and will discuss their next pond tour. Their Xmas party in December will have a
gift exchange and there will be a Xmas parade for the Warner Robins city. Johnny Foster, of Nature’s Coast
K&WGC, said the ko show went well with 101 koi and 24 goldfish;
excellent quality. Field trip to Cedar
First Coast Koi Show and Gainesville BBQ and winding down summer events; this
next Sunday is club’s 9th Anniversary meeting. Henry Culpepper, of Orlando Area
K&PC, said there is no November meeting due to many members gone to
several different koi shows; many members going to Naples koi show. Xmas party is Dec. 8th at Dr.
Luis & Jennifer Barosso’s home and will have a pig roast. Joe White, of Florida East Coast
K&WGS, said their last meeting was in Deltona; Joe did a talk
on cold water management of ponds. Xmas
party at the Dunlop’s in Dec; will have a Chinese gift exchange. Many members going to the Naples show. Rod Lawton, of ZNA Southern Koi
Association, said they are getting ready for Naples show; also planning
for Central Florida Koi Show in March.
Jesus Brito, of Oklahoma Koi Society, said their next
meeting is their annual mud pond pull @ the Downs’ residence to see how the koi
they put in from club members are doing.
Barb Flowers, of Rocky Mountain KC, said their meeting
last week was to plan the year and
events; everybody’s ponds are shut down for winter. Have Xmas party in Dec.; no meeting. Debby Young, of Southern Arizona Koi Assoc., said
they won Grand Champion with a shiro utsuri.
Had a good show, a good auction.
Xmas party in early Dec. will have a Chinese gift exchange. Denise Williams, of Santa Clara
Valley K&WGC, said elections are next meeting, otherwise all
is quiet. Xmas party planned for Dec. 9th
at a restaurant. Every year they

report submitted by Larry: Joan Woelfel, of St. Louis WGS,
said they had two programs this month for the first time. Their regular meeting was with Deb Spencer
from Water’s Edge in Lawrence, Kansas. It was Disappearing Fountains and
Bubblers: Build one in an afternoon.
They have a man who imports koi from Japan to sell there, who takes 5
minutes to teach them something about koi at each meeting. This time, it was on Showa. They do the same thing now with water
plants, and a member explained how to grow lotus from seed. The special meeting was by Paul Ellsworth
from Genesis Wildlife Control who talked about Visitors to their pond and how
to control the predators. Joan has been
requesting photos of their members’ fish to prepare for the April Koi Photo of
the Year. People do not like to catch
their fish early in the spring for this, so it’s been difficult to have many to
choose from. Two people emailed some
beauties! They also hope to have more
people interested in the koi health care classes next year. They will not be meeting in Nov. or
Dec. Shelley Klinger, of Central
Illinois WG, said they are not meeting for Nov. or Dec. Mark Schsiek, of Prairieland K&PS,
said on Nov. 3rd they had their last club meeting of the year at a
local K of C Hall. They had approx. 58
members in attendance for their year end banquet. The members had a choice of chicken or steak and side dishes and
a salad. The board members decided to
have a DJ for some entertainment after the meeting. Those that stayed after dinner had a good time dancing or just
enjoyed watching the others trying to dance.
Some people have already shut down their ponds for the year and others
said they are going to run theirs through the winter. All seemed to have a good time and none left hungry. Ron Kramer will be the new president of the
club effective immediately. Darlene
Jennings, of Mid-Michigan P&WGC, said they won’t
meet until March.

reports that the members are getting ready for the Naples Florida show on Nov.
17th & 18th and planning for the clubs own show in
January. Judith Minor Roberts, of the Mountaineer
KC, reports that the club is on hiatus for the winter. Tom Tranbarger, of the Shasta K&WGC,
reports that the October meeting was the annual Koi auction held at the home of
Terry & Karlene Stoker. Terry
served as the chief of the auction, which is the highlight of the year’s
activities. In addition tow van loads
of club members attended the dealer tour in San Jose. The November meeting will be hosted by Don & Joan
Gerber. Robin Rollins will talk about
dirty water and how adding clay can improve water chemistry. In addition, election of the club officers
for 2008 will be on the agenda. Linda
Siler, of the Springfield WGS, reports that the Oct. meeting was
a lot of fun for everyone. Diane Bannon
showed how to paint and decorate pumpkins for the holidays and Dave Simmons
oohed and awed everyone with his carved pumpkins. Diane and Dave generously donated their pumpkins for the club
raffle. The November meeting will be
held at the St. Johns Cancer Center.
The program will be getting ready for the holidays. Carl Jones of Linda Flowers will show and
tell how to decorate for the holidays.
He will bring fresh flowers and silk flowers and will demonstrate how to
make table scapes, wreaths and other fun ideas. Clubs with no report this month are: Capital Area K&WGC; Dayton K&GFC;
and, the Inland Empire WG&KS.

said their 6th annual pond tour was a Big success. Pond hosts were given clear acrylic plaques
for generously sharing their ponds.

of Puget Sound KC, said they had a meeting Oct. 20th
where they installed their officers
for next year. Dave Mason will be their next AKCA rep. Kathy Hoffman, of South Carolina K&WGC,
said they had a Young Koi and Goldfish Show
on Oct. 5th at Underwood Nursery in Greenville, SC.
Saundra Harper, of the Water Garden
Club of South Texas, said she is now the rep for their club. They
are having a meeting
this month on winterizing your pond and are planning for the Xmas party. Their Oct.
meeting was on bog
gardening and the Sept. meeting was a plant/fish swap and BBQ. She would like to see
a future AKCA
Seminar in Austin, Texas. She believes
that several of their club members subscribe to KOI
USA. Gary Floyd, of Amarillo KS,
reports that most of their members subscribe to KOI USA. As far as
Seminar
sites, they would like to see it held in Dallas or Oklahoma, Colorado, or New
Mexico. They will be merging with
another club. They continue to buy show
tanks and other equipment so that they can hold a show in the future. Wanted suggestions on the best time of year
to hold the show (depends on the weather and season). They will have their Christmas party in early Dec. and then start
the new year with great hope to blend the two clubs together over the next few
meetings. They also agreed to hold a
pond tour as usual in July. Some
thoughts have also been given to hold a koi show at the same time in the next
few years. Felt this

attract folks into the area who have interest in one or both. They have a new web site with lots of info
and links for people to get info on their club and the koi hobby, history,
medical and others. The link is

planning a Spring Fling in Dallas in conjunction with North Texas Water Garden
Society Pond Tour. The tour will be
held June 7-8th with around 40 ponds on the day and night

reports they will be attending the SAKA show and then their Christmas party at
Rosemary Kennedy’s home on Dec. 8th. Ray Jordan, of Texas K&FGFS, said their 15th
annual show was a big success. They had
5 members showing koi for the first time.
A total of 143 koi 7 longfins were entered; super turnout of club
volunteers to help with all aspects of the event. Nov. meeting will be at the home of May & Jason Wong to view
their new koi pond and filter system.
Dec. meeting will be the annual trip to Brett Rowleys koi farm – Fall
harvest event. He is hoping that Las
Vegas will be the site of the 2010 AKCA Seminar. Dan Phillips, of North Carolina K&WGS, reports
they held their koi photo contest the first weekend in Nov. 71 entries were judged by Art & Nicole
Lembke. GC was won by Philip
Bronikowski. Members attended the Charlotte Koi show. Nov. 10th meeting officer elections for 2008 were
held.

reported that their clubs annual koi show for 2008 will be on the weekend after
labor day the same time as it has been for years (Sept. 12-14). It seems that Mid Atlantic is going to have
its show at the same time. The club had
an in-club pond tour last month that was well attended and good. Club trying to increase the number of
subscriptions to KOI USA by club members.
Everyone is pleased with how KOI USA is doing. The club is having a Christmas party on Dec. 2nd as
the Nov/Dec meeting. No report from the
Koi Club of San Diego.
q Written report submitted by Joyce Glenn: Michael Anderson, of Atlanta KC,
reports that under the current water ban, ponds with “aquatic life” are allowed
to use water. Water features without
aquatic life are not allowed to be filled/refilled. Their final meeting of this year was on Nov. 11th. Rod MacNeil, of Charleston Showa KC,
said everyone had a great time at the Charlotte show. Robert Lewis came in with a Grand Champion, an ochiba. Grant and Penny had a Grand Champion with an
utsuri. Bob Waag, of Florida
West Coast Koi, said on Dec. 2nd they will be having
their Christmas party. Other than that,
things are pretty quiet. The Hawaii Goldfish
& Carp. Assn. Is having a pond tour for its members this
weekend. Bonnie Nakahara said the last
one was probably several years ago.
They will be visiting two ponds.
The first will be a natural spring pond where they will also enjoy a
lunch bento (Japanese box lunch) then they will head over to see a backyard
full of cement style ponds of one member who has just brought in a new shipment
of nisai from Japan. The club is also
working on a great Christmas Party scheduled for Dec. 9th and the
election of the 2008 Board. Dave
Peebler, of Koi Club of Kansas, sent pictures of their photo
competition held in conjunction with the meeting and they had some beautiful
entries. First place was awarded to
Doris Brinegar, 2nd Place went to Vicki & Daryl Henwood, and 3rd
place was won by Brett Brinegar. Joyce
Tsuji, of Washington K&WGS, reports they have 153 voting
members. Their officers for next year
have been elected and the AKCA rep for 2008 will be Jeff Jirka.

report submitted by Kelly Houston: The Inland Koi Society will
meet Nov. 18th at the home of Phil & Rachel Hunter in
Temecula. They will have elections for
the slate of officers and board members and vote on four amendments made to the
club by-laws. Guest speaker is Spike
Cover speaking on “How to handle koi and pond emergency’s.”
q Written report submitted by Louie Hernandez: ZNA Southern CA report they
will have their koi round-up at the Earl Burns Japanese garden located at the
Univ. of CA Long Beach. This is one of
the largest koi auctions around. Also a
great month for members to cull their ponds.
Nishiki KC reported their Nov. meeting was held at the
home of Joe & Sulie Fryer. The pond
is 32,500 gal. With artificial granite boulders; a truly great pond. Their speaker was Randy Rattay, the Fryers
pond builder and also a member of Nishiki KC.
There was a brief discussion on their Dec. Xmas party.
