Filters 4 x 300 gls each.
2 x 9" bases using 35 newton steel reinforced concrete with fibres added ( 15 cubic mtrs total ).
Walls 9", high density block,backfilled with 9" concrete.Floor benched to the bottom drains,rendered, fibreglassed and finished in black.
Two bottom drains with air diffusers powered by 2 Hi blow 40`s,each fed by 3/4" id reinforced plastic tube.
Both btm drains feed the primary vortex,4`dia x 5`6" high, fitted with micro mesh mechanical strainer.
6" transfer pipes from the centre then feed 3 identical (same size as the vortex) biological chambers each containing 3.5 sheets of blue jap mat in cartridge form,8 ceramic air stones in each powered off a ring main supplied by 1 Hiblow 80 and 1 Hi blo 40.
Filtered water returned via mid water returns off the 4 corners at a tangent.Pumps... 4 Grundfos,1 x 25/80,1 x 25/55,2 x 15/60 (cast iron bodies sealed with polypropeleyne.( approx 4,000 gls per hour).
Heating.... 80,000 BTU natural gas fired boiler with a 170,000 stainless steel heat exchanger,switched by a digistat.
Refresh tower,powered by amphibious P3000,fed from first of the above 15/60 and returned in part to a mid water return,rest through a rock gyser type thingymebob.
All new water purified via 2 pod metals unit.
One electronic multi wave blanket weed supressor.( probably a waste of money,dont`t know if it works or not but i would`nt tempt fate and take it off.)Suspect the pergola keeps the blanketweed away.
